Frosé, Brosé, #RoséAllDay, #YesWayRosé, Hampton Water, and “Drink Pink" are just a few of the ridiculous monikers associated with rosé wine as of late. Despite all of these silly adjunct tags, this category is one of the fastest growing in the wine world. But why?

Over millennia, rosé has been celebrated and reviled, succumbing to the same boom and bust cycles as other fads and fashions. So why are we suddenly experiencing a renaissance? Are we at the pink drink zenith or are we living through the rosé denouement? Tonight we’ll look at the history of blush wine, from its murky origins in ancient Greece up to the twenty-first century. Let's discuss some of the production methods utilized to make pink wine, taste delicious tipples and consider whether the future looks rosy or if this rosé has too many thorns.
